“Shop on your Ackermans Account and Stand to Win a Summer Wardrobe” Competition Terms and Conditions
1. The promoters of the Competition are Ackermans and Tenacity Financial Services, divisions of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd (collectively referred to as “the Promoters”), who will be jointly and individually responsible for the Competition.
2. The name of the Competition is “Shop on your Ackermans Account and Stand to Win a Summer Wardrobe” (“the Competition”).
3. The Competition will run from 1 August 2026 to 30 September 2026 (both days included) (“the Competition Period”).
4. The participating country is South Africa (“Participating Country”).
5. To be eligible to be entered into the Competition, a person must be an existing Ackermans account holder in South Africa or become an Ackermans account holder by opening an Ackermans account in South Africa during the Competition Period.
6. Customers in South Africa who meet the criteria in clause 5 above and who do the following during the Competition Period will be entered into the Competition:
6.1. Make a purchase of any value at any Ackermans store on their Ackermans account during the Competition Period; and
6.2. Enter the Competition via the official USSD channel (130602#), using their ID number.
7. South African customers will only be entered into the Competition once both the qualifying purchase and the USSD entry have been successfully completed during the Competition Period.
8. Entry is free and Participants may enter multiple times. Each qualifying purchase, together with a successful USSD entry, will constitute one entry into the Competition. Participants may only win one prize in this Competition irrespective of the number of entries.
9. Participants stand a chance to be one (1) of ten (10) winners who will each receive a digital voucher to the value of R20 000.
10. Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected via a computer operated draw on 1 October 2026.
11. By accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
12. The Promoters reserve the right to exclude a Participant from this Competition or to withhold the prize to a winner should the Promoters become aware that a Participant is:
12.1. a director, member, business partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Pepkor group of companies, its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition;
12.2. a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified above.
13. All prizes in this Competition are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
14. Winners will be notified that they have won by latest 15 October 2026.
15. Any Winner, who is a South African Customer, shall receive their digital voucher together with their notification SMS.
16. Winners must redeem their vouchers within 3 (three) months from 15 October 2026. The Promoters do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this Competition.
17. The Promoters reserve the right to refuse the handover of a prize to any winner, regardless of the successful entry into the Competition, who they decide (in their sole discretion) has violated the terms and conditions of this Competition, or who has participated herein using suspected fraudulent means or dishonest information.
18. The Promoters reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against the Promoters and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoters.
