Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoters
   The promoters of the Competition are Tenacity Financial Services, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, Ackermans Namibia (Pty) Ltd and Ackermans Botswana (Pty) Ltd (collectively referred to as “the Promoters”), who will be jointly and individually responsible for the Competition.
2. Competition Name
   The name of the Competition is “Shop on your Ackermans Account and Stand to Win a Summer Wardrobe” (“the Competition”).
3. Competition Period
   The Competition will run from 1 August 2026 to 31 October 2026, both days included (“the Competition Period”).
4. Participating Countries
   The participating countries are Namibia and Botswana (“Participating Countries”).
5. Eligibility
   To be eligible to enter the Competition, a person must be an existing Ackermans account holder in a Participating Country or become an Ackermans account holder by opening an Ackermans account in any of the Participating Countries during the Competition Period.
6. Automatic Entry
   Customers in the Participating Countries who meet the criteria in clause 5 above and who make a purchase of any value at any Ackermans store using their Ackermans account during the Competition Period will automatically be entered into the Competition (“Participants”).
7. Entries
   Entry is free, and Participants may enter multiple times. Participants may only win one prize in this Competition, irrespective of the number of entries.
8. Prizes
   Participants stand a chance to be one (1) of three (3) winners, who will each receive a voucher to the value of R20 000, converted into the respective currency of the Participating Country according to the exchange rate at midnight on the day prior to the date on which the Winner is notified that they have won.
9. Winner Selection
   Three (3) winners will be randomly selected by means of a computer-operated draw on 1 November 2026.
10. Acceptance of Terms
    By accepting any prize, a Winner agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

11. Exclusions
    The Promoters reserve the right to exclude a Participant from the Competition or to withhold payment of a prize should the Promoters become aware that a Participant is:

    11.1. a director, member, business partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Pepkor group of companies, its affiliates, divisions or subsidiaries, or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition; or

    11.2. a spouse, life partner, parent, child, sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of any of the persons specified above.

12. Prize Conditions
    All prizes in this Competition are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.
13. Winner Notification
    Winners will be notified that they have won by no later than 15 November 2026.
14. Prize Collection
    Winners will receive a notification SMS and may collect their voucher from an Ackermans store nearest to them.
15. Voucher Validity
    Winners must use their vouchers within three (3) months from 15 November 2026.
16. Limitation of Liability
    The Promoters and their delivery agent do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying or enjoying the prize won in this Competition.
17. Disqualification
    The Promoters reserve the right to refuse payment of a prize to any Winner, regardless of the successful entry into the Competition, where the Promoters determine, in their sole discretion, that the Winner has violated these Terms and Conditions or has participated in the Competition using suspected fraudulent means or dishonest information.
18. Variation, Suspension or Termination
    The Promoters reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reason whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you waive any rights or expectations that you may have against the Promoters and acknowledge that you will have no recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoters.
