Purchases without a +more Rewards card will not qualify.

By purchasing with your +more Rewards card, you are automatically entered into the competition.

+more Rewards will share the details of qualifying participants with the party conducting the draw.

No other personal data will be shared, and the draw party will not use or sell participant data in any way.

Each week, 25 winners will be randomly drawn to win a R1,000 Checkers grocery voucher.

Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter

The promoter is Motorola Mobility LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lenovo (“the Promoter”).

The competition is run in association with Pepkor Holdings Limited and the +more Rewards programme.
-
Associated Parties (Pepkor, +more Rewards, Shoprite Checkers, Incredible Connection, HiFi Corp, Ackermans, PEP, PEPCell, Pep Home) are not the organisers, promoters, or sponsors and bear no responsibility or liability.
2. Competition Period

25 October – 27 December 2025.

Purchases or entries outside this period are invalid.
3. Eligibility

Open to South African citizens or permanent residents, 18 years or older.
-
Must purchase a qualifying Motorola smartphone with a +more Rewards card from participating stores.
-
Employees, directors, partners, agents, or immediate family members of the Promoter, Pepkor, +more Rewards, or Associated Parties are not eligible.
4. Entry Mechanism
-
Entry is automatic when a qualifying purchase is made using a +more Rewards card.
-
+more Rewards will share qualifying participant details for the draw only.

No other personal data will be shared, and the draw party will not use or sell participant data.

Each IMEI number can only be used once; duplicate IMEIs are disqualified.

Purchases must fall within the Competition Period.
Online Purchases:

Only PEP Online purchases using the purchaser’s +more Rewards card qualify.

Purchases without a +more Rewards card are invalid.
In-store Purchases:

Only purchases from Ackermans, PEP, PEPCell, Pep Home, Incredible Connection, or HiFi Corp using a +more Rewards card qualify.
5. Prize and Draw Process

Total Prize Pool: R250,000 in shopping vouchers over 9 weeks.

Winners will be notified via +more Rewards and must respond within 7 working days or the prize may be forfeited.
6. Virtual Voucher Terms and Conditions
6.1 The virtual vouchers can be redeemed immediately once received.
6.2 Please ensure recipient cellphone numbers are entered correctly. Once a voucher has been sent, it cannot be recalled.
6.3 The virtual voucher will be sent directly to the recipient via SMS. Participants must notify recipients to expect the SMS to avoid confusion with spam.
Voucher Use:
-
Can be used at any Checkers, Shoprite, or Usave store nationwide.
-
Can only be redeemed in-store, not online.
-
Delivered by SMS to the recipient’s cellphone within one hour of issue.
-
The SMS must be kept until the voucher is redeemed.
-
Vouchers can be redeemed only once.
-
Cannot be redeemed at Usave mobile stores, MediRite Pharmacies, or Money Market counters.
-
No change given if the value of the purchase is less than the voucher amount.
-
Remaining balance (if any) will be loaded onto a gift card in-store.
-
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
-
Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced.
-
Valid for 3 years from date of issue.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 All personal information is collected and processed strictly in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at:

7.2 Personal information will only be used for the purposes of:
-
verifying the participant’s purchase;
-
administering entry into the competition; and
-
contacting winners.
7.3 Personal information will not be sold, shared, or distributed to third parties, save where required by law or to fulfil the above purposes.
8. Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry if:
-
fraudulent, dishonest, misleading, duplicate, or incomplete information is submitted;
-
the participant fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions; or
-
tampering, abuse, or manipulation of the entry process is suspected.
Disqualified participants will not be entitled to claim any prize.
9. Liability Disclaimer
9.1 The Promoter, Pepkor, +more Rewards, Shoprite Checkers, Associated Parties, and their directors, officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for:
-
any lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, or incomplete entries;
-
technical errors, malfunctions, or interruptions affecting the entry or prize process;
-
any vouchers that are unclaimed, undelivered, deleted, blocked, delayed, or otherwise not received by the winner due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control; or
-
any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize.
9.2 By entering the competition, participants indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, Pepkor, +more Rewards, Shoprite Checkers, and Associated Parties from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to this competition.
10. General
10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to:
-
amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without notice;
-
substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances beyond its control necessitate.
10.2 The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.3 Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
10.4 This competition is conducted in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 and the Lotteries Act, 57 of 1997 (where applicable).
10.5 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
