Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of the Competition is Ackermans, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").
2. The name of the Competition is the “CUBE Matric Challenge” competition ("the Competition").
3. The Competition will run from 10 February 2025 to 7 April 2025, both days included ("the Competition Period").
4. By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. The Competition prize is
a. A R250 000 cash prize for the winner’s school.
b. A R50 000 cash prize for themselves (“the Prize”).
6. The Competition is open to all participants within the Republic of South Africa. You are not eligible to participate in this Competition if: -
a. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition.
b. You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified above.
7. To enter the Competition and stand a chance to win, participants will need to:
a. Post a picture on your social media showing off your favourite CUBE fit on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
b. Tag @cubefashionsa and use the hashtag #CubeMatricChallenge.
c. Tag or mention your high school in the caption.
8. Entry to the Competition is free and participants may enter only once during the Competition Period.
9. Ackermans reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information by robotic, automated, or like means.
10. The prize will be deposited to the valid nominated bank account provided by the winner and the winner’s school, respectively.
11. The winner’s matric ball should take place after May 2025.
12. The draw for the winner will take place on 11 April 2025. The winner will be chosen randomly from all the valid entries received via the entry channel.
13. Winners will be contacted between 10am and 3pm on the day of the draw to arrange for delivery.
14. The winner will be announced on the date of the draw. An alternative winner will be drawn if after 2 days from the date of the draw, a winner is unreachable.
15. The winning school shall be required to provide formal written consent permitting Ackermans' authorized social media team to attend the school's matric ball for the purpose of capturing and producing content. Such content may be used and published across Ackermans' official social media platforms. The school further acknowledges that no compensation shall be due for the use of such content, and all intellectual property rights therein shall vest in Ackermans.
16. Winners give Ackermans and its authorized agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless refused.
17. Ackermans reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against Ackermans and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Ackermans.
18. Your privacy is very important to Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies and it will use all reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by you, or which is collected from you, is stored in a secure manner. 19. You agree to provide Pepkor with accurate and current information and to maintain and update such information when necessary. The information collected by Pepkor may be used to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in the Pepkor group that may be of interest or value to you. The information may also be processed by Ackermans and other companies in the Pepkor group, any of their operators, agents, and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential.
20. You acknowledge that any information supplied to Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies in terms of these Terms and Conditions is provided voluntarily.

By submitting any information to Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies in any form you further acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing of such information by Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies under any applicable law in the manner contemplated above, which consent shall, in the absence of any written objection received from you, be indefinite and/or for the period otherwise required in terms of any applicable law.

Should you believe that Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies has utilised your personal information contrary to applicable law, you shall first resolve any concerns with Ackermans and the Pepkor group of companies. 24. You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying Ackermans in writing or by registering a block on any registry which Ackermans is bound by law to recognise. Ackermans will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. Ackermans will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
