How do I choose the right size

That way, you ensure a better fit, so your child feels comfortable and confident from the start. Whether you're buying shirts, or trousers, we make sizing easier.

Do I need to size up for growing children?

Yes, and many parents do. Sizing up is a great way to get more wear out of each item-especially with growing children. At Ackermans, many of our school trousers have flexi-length hems so you get flexibility, a better fit now, and some leeway later. It's all part of our focus on value and convenience for parents.

Are school uniforms standardized in South Africa?

Each school has a uniform policy, and we at Ackermans can help you find your match. While uniforms are not standardized across South Africa, we stock Schoolwear essentials that should meet most schools' requirements-like grey trousers, white shirts, navy long-sleeved jersey, or rain jackets, or pt shorts, , and more. We also refresh our range on a regular basis so parents can come and buy what they need all year long.. )

Are school clothes for different seasons?

Yes. Most schools follow a summer and winter uniform system-and at Ackermans, we’ve got your child covered for both.
