The promoters of the Competition are Ackermans, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, Ackermans Namibia (Pty) Ltd, and Ackermans Botswana (Pty) Ltd respectively (collectively referred to herein as “the Promoters”).

The name of the Competition is “SHOP, STYLE & WIN YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE CLEARED.” (“the Competition").

The Competition will run from Wednesday, 22 July 2025 until Wednesday, 31 July 2025 (both days included) ("the Competition Period").

The Competition is only open to customers within South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana (“Participating Countries”).

Customers who do the following will automatically be entered in the Competition (“Participants”):
5.1. Make a purchase at any Ackermans on their Ackermans account in Participating Countries during the Competition Period (“Qualifying Purchase”).
5.2. Comment on the Competition post with a video or image in Ackermans merchandise.

Entry is free and Participants may enter only once.

Participants may only win one prize in this Competition.

Participants stand a chance to have their account balances, as at the date of the respective winners' draw, settled in full.

Three (3) winners will be randomly selected via a computer-operated draw on 4 August 2025.

By accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Promoters reserve the right to exclude a Participant from this Competition or to withhold payment of a prize to a winner should the Promoters become aware that a Participant is:
11.1. A director, member, business partner, employee, agent, or consultant of the Pepkor group of companies, its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the Competition;
11.2. A spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner, or associate of the persons specified in 11.1 above.

All prizes in this competition are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.

Winners will be notified via Facebook Messenger. If winners cannot be reached after 3 attempts at reasonable intervals within 3 business days, an alternative winner will be drawn.

Winners' account status will be verified and their Ackermans Account balance amount will be settled in full.

The Promoters do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage and will also not be responsible or liable for any further expenses or fees required for the purpose of using, applying, or enjoying the prize won in this Competition.

The Promoters reserve the right to refuse the payment of a prize to any winner, regardless of the successful entry into the Competition, who it decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the terms and conditions of this Competition, or who has participated herein using suspected fraudulent means or dishonest information.

The Promoters reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the Competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against the Promoters and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against the Promoters.
