KIDS GRAND PRIX COMPETITION – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Get ready to rev those engines! We're giving your little racer the chance to win 1 of 2 epic Kids Electric Ride-On Car Mercedes GLC63S Coupes in our exciting Kids Grand Prix Competition. Before entering, please take a moment to read through the terms and conditions below to ensure you understand how to qualify, what’s up for grabs, and how winners will be chosen. By participating, you’re agreeing to play fair and follow the rules—good luck!

Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter of the competition is Ackermans, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").

2. The name of the competition is the Kids Grand Prix Competition ("the Competition").

3. The Competition will run from 14 March 2025 to 31 March 2025, both days included ("the Competition Period").

4. By entering the Competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5. The Competition prize is 1 (one) of 2 (two) Kids Electric Ride-On Car Mercedes GLC63S Coupe 12V ("the Prize").

6. The Competition is open to all participants within the Republic of South Africa who are:

   a) South African citizens (in possession of a valid South African ID book or card); or

   b) South African residents (in possession of a valid South African permanent residency permit).

   You are not eligible to participate in this Competition if: a. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or affiliated with any of the Promoter's divisions/subsidiaries, or if you supply goods or services in connection with the Competition.
   b. You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child, sibling, immediate family member, business partner, or associate of any person mentioned in 6a.

7. To enter the Competition and stand a chance to win, participants must: a. Comment on the competition post on Facebook, telling us why your little racer deserves to win.
   b. Like and share the competition post.

8. Entry into the Competition is free, and participants may enter only once during the Competition Period. Entrants are only eligible to win one (1) prize.

9. Ackermans reserves the right to disqualify any user who enters using false information or through robotic, automated, or similar means.

10. All prizes in this Competition are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

11. The Prize will be delivered to the winners using the delivery address received from them when contacted.

12. The draw for the winners will take place on 1 April 2025. Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries received.

13. Winners will be contacted between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on the day of the draw to arrange delivery.

14. The winners will be announced on the date of the draw. If a winner is unreachable after 2 days from the draw date, an alternative winner will be selected.

15. Winners give Ackermans and its authorized agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless they request otherwise.

16. Ackermans reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the Competition and/or any prize or aspect thereof for any reason without notice. In such cases, participants waive any rights or claims against Ackermans.

17. Your privacy is very important to Ackermans and the Pepkor group. Reasonable efforts will be made to ensure that any information provided by you is securely stored. Refer to our full Privacy Statement for more details.

18. You agree to provide accurate and current information to Pepkor and to update it when necessary. The information collected may be used to inform you of products, services, and special offers from Pepkor group companies.

19. You acknowledge that any information supplied to Ackermans and the Pepkor group in connection with this Competition is voluntary.

20. By submitting information to Ackermans and the Pepkor group, you consent to the processing of such information in accordance with applicable laws. This consent is valid unless withdrawn in writing.

21. Unless you have consented, your personal information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, rented, or made available to third parties. You indemnify Ackermans and the Pepkor group from any unintentional disclosure to unauthorized parties.

22. If you believe that your personal information has been used contrary to applicable law, you must first attempt to resolve the issue with Ackermans. If unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

23. You may opt out of direct marketing by notifying Ackermans in writing or by registering a block on any lawful registry. No fees apply, and changes will be processed as soon as reasonably possible.
