Trend: Tribal Print. I went for a traditional tribal look since we come from Africa month (May). This look was inspired by the Ndebele art which is shown on the dress. To add more diversity I added a bit of beadwork shown by the bracelet, earings and necklace. Lately, fashion shows have been airing clothes which combine a little bit of a modern look with a touch of traditional attire. The predicted trend is modernised tribal look . I would name it a mini Ruffle skirt. A similar skirt was featured as the best street style at New York fashion week. Many others will wear this skirt on a summer's day out with a modest T-shirt.
She loves to wear long pants, she also loves printed T-shirts and knee-long dresses. I went for a style she loves. With the voucher I bought her a roll-neck long-sleeved jumper dress and black tights. She wore this with her brown ankle boots. I love to wear black tights and a short-sleeved T-shirt with a denim jacket. I keep up with the latest fashion trends by usually watching fashion shows and browse through fashion magazines.
I love Jaden Smith becasue he loves street style and so do I. My number one tip for staying on-trend on a budget: Try to buy clothes ahead of their season, that way you save a lot of money. My perfect outfit for a fun day out: A pair of black tights with a crop top. Although, if it's cold I'd wear a denim jacket on top with casual takkies. I'd name my own fashion range 'Street Chick'. I'd stock street look clothes for my shop, hence the name.
I created a denim bag from a pair of jeans. Firstly, I turned the jeans into shorts, then cut off the sides and sewed the leather onto the sides. I sewed on a piece of the old jeans underneath. I replaced the back pockets with the ones from the old jeans. From the cut-off legs, I made straps. In front, I glued on stickers from the toolkit and on the other side I glued on strips from the old jeans and add-ons. I got my inspiration from a fashion site featuring people who recycled their old jeans and turned them into a work of art. Oh my... the process of creating my own bag from a pair of jeans was so much fun. This bag is suitable for a fun day out.
